You play as a lone Space Marine (Special Operations) who is part of a desperate counter-offensive against the Strogg, a hostile race of cybernetic aliens on their home planet, Stroggos. After your squad is wiped out during a crash landing, you must navigate industrial environments to sabotage their war machine and eliminate the Strogg leader, the Makron.
